RISD Portfolio Workshops are events designed specifically for prospective undergraduate students like you! In these workshops, you'll receive guidance on how to develop a compelling portfolio for college admission, showcasing your creative voice and technical skills. You’ll also gain fresh ideas on how to push your work in new and innovative directions. Each workshop concludes with an optional portfolio review by a member of RISD’s portfolio review team, offering personalized feedback on your body of work.

High school and transfer students of all grade and experience levels are welcome to attend! The workshop will have a particular emphasis on portfolio development for juniors, seniors, and prospective transfer students.

Workshop information sessions will take place at 4:15pm and 5:45pm, respectively; you are welcome to attend the session that suits your schedule best. Portfolio reviews will take place after each session and throughout the full three hour event, on a first-come, first-served basis.
